Morgan Fairchild (born PatsyAnn McClenny March. 3 1950) is an iconic American actress. She gained prominence between the late 1970s to mid-80s, when she was featured in numerous television shows that usually reflected a glamorous look. Fairchild started her career on the CBS morning soap Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. Following her appearance in Dallas, where she played Jenna Wade as the very first primetime actress, Fairchild moved on to the NBC program Flamingo Road. For this part, she received with a Golden Globe Award in 1980 for the Best Actress for a Television Series - Drama. She co-starred on ABC's shortlived primetime comedy Paper Dolls. In the following season in 1985-1986, she played the attorney Jordan Roberts as part of Falcon Crest. Fairchild is also an actor in the theatre, and has appeared in a variety of TV comedy shows, including Murphy Brown, for which she was awarded an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the best guest star in a Comedy Series. She serves on the board of SAG-AFTRA.
