Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor director, producer, as well as a teacher at St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was the child of a Briton, and a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. Anna appeared in several advertisements in her youth. Anna moved to Toronto in the fall of 1999 to pursue her acting talents. Then, she settled to Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. The two were engaged by the year 2009. Anna began her journey to becoming a Jewish woman in 2011 after converting to Judaism. They got wed in a civil ceremony in December this year. They then reaffirmed their vows at a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton on April 11, 2011.
